Services Offered

Individual and family support available

Children's Counselling - When working with children, we work together to support your child in feeling comfortable in doing the work together. Counselling is a partnership and that includes the family along with the child. Play, fun, and games are used to engage children in the process along with therapeutic techniques.

Youth Counselling - Again, I believe it is vitally important to have the support and input from the family in order to support the whole child. My goal with youth is to ensure they feel seen and heard. That they feel empowered to do the work alongside along with feeling comfortable and supported.

Individual Counselling - My goal is to create a safe place where we can work alongside each other on the goals you wish to reach. My role is to support you.

How does change occur

I believe that transformation begins when we establish a secure space that encourages vulnerability to thrive. My role is to support you through your journey. We start by engaging in thoughtful reflection, helping you identify the areas in your life that can benefit from change. Together, we will craft a path forward, offering support as you commit to your personal growth. My focus is on creating a sanctuary for children, youth, and families where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to embrace change. Building upon the foundation of respectful and trusting relationships, I strive to foster an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance. My ultimate goal is to create a safe haven where you can comfortably open up, explore possibilities, and embark on a transformative process.

Theoretic Framework

My roots are in attachment theory as well as systems theory. I believe that not one approach or theory can be universally applied, nor can one truth. I believe in a very client centered approach where the client’s worldview is at the foreground. For me, it comes down to relationships. In order to case conceptualist and gain and understanding of someone’s world view you need a relationship. Without it, interventions may miss the mark.
